RUBIN MUSEUM OF ART, 150 W. 17th St. (212-620-5000)—The new series “Harlem in the Himalayas” brings musicians picked by Loren Schoenberg, the executive director of the Jazz Museum in Harlem, to this repository of art from the world’s highest mountain chain. March 31 features the multi-instrumentalist Scott Robinson, a chief soloist for Maria Schneider’s band. If it has a reed attached to it, the virtuosic and passionate Robinson can swing it.
