Jazz at Hostos
Willie Rodríguez & Friends

Enjoy an evening of Latin jazz (two half hour sets) featuring Willie Rodríguez (vocals, piano), Andy González (bass), Nicky Marrero (timbales), and Roland Guerrero (congas). The event, a part of a Bronx Culture Trolley tour, is a presentation of the Bronx Council on the Arts, Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture, the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, and the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.

Plus, experience Las Casitas Revisited—a re-creation of the 1990 Casitas exhibition produced by the Bronx Council on the Arts that opened at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C., traveled to Chicago and closed at the Bronx Museum of the Arts in 1991. The exhibition highlights a unique urban phenomenon featuring an actual casita recreated in the gallery along with photography, found objects, video footage, musical instruments and art.
